Where it all started
The Wake Movement started with Brad and Kelli Wilborne in February 2018. We had our first summer with our first boat and boy did we enjoy it! The joy we found on the water was indescribable. However, we felt God challenging us with the purpose of having a boat to use on the lake. We decided we wanted to be able to share this joy we find on God's water with others, because "who wouldnt want to go to the lake?"! From here, the dreaming has not stopped. We are constantly searching for ways to glorify Christ through everything we are doing!

Meet Kelli
Meet Kelli Wilborne! Kelli is a Cali girl at heart, being born in San Fernando California! However, she came to NWA at a young age and was immediately immersed in lake life growing up. Little did she know of Gods plan for the water in her life! Kelli met Brad and developed a friendship that slowly bloomed into Gods plan for marriage! Together they have two beautiful children Ellie and Parker, a labradoodle Ollie, and another little girl on the way in August 2019 named Laikyn. Kelli’s love for the water shines in everything she does, including her women’s bible study she leads. The girls try to get out on the water any chance they can! Kelli’s favorite thing in the world is being a mom! She also enjoys crafting (can be found in Hobby Lobby), decorating, party planning, surfing, and camping. Kelli is the heart and soul of The Wake Movement, keeping Brad in line most of the time! Look for her huge smile when you come out to our events! (oh and keep an eye out for Laikyn late this summer)
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
- Jeremiah 29:11
Meet Brad Wilborne! Otherwise known as bahhd, dad, hubby, Bradly, Donald, Bradford, or RAD-brad! Brad comes all the way from the East coast of North Carolina! He is blessed to have landed in NWA where he met his wife Kelli. Together they have two beautiful children Ellie and Parker, a labradoodle Ollie, and another little girl on the way in August 2019 named Laikyn. Brad’s love for the water through his childhood fuels his passion for water sports! He also enjoys the simple pleasures in life such as family, friends, FOOD, fitness, and fellowship! Humbled and overjoyed, he believes that every open boat seat is an opportunity to share the authentic Christ with others. For his kingdom!
"I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing."
- John 15:5
